Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Gifford Development LLC ("we", "us") handles information in StrengthLogix (the "App"), including strengthlogix.com and lift.strengthlogix.com. It is part of our Terms of Use.

1. If you don't sign in

Your muscle groups, settings and test history are stored only in your browser's storage on your device. We do not receive them. If you clear your browser data or uninstall the App, that log is gone unless you exported a backup.

2. If you sign in

• Account information: sign-in is handled by Auth0 (a service of Okta, Inc.). Depending on how you sign in, Auth0 processes your email address, name and a unique account identifier. We receive your account identifier and email address.
• Your log: your muscle groups, test exercises, weights, rep limits, test results (dates, reps, weights, pass or fail) and app settings are stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., so they can be backed up and synced across your devices.

Training records can reveal things about your physical activity. We use them only to provide the App to you.

3. Information collected automatically

Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical information such as IP address, browser type and request logs to deliver and secure the service, and may provide us with aggregated, cookie-free visit statistics. The App stores data in your browser (local storage and an offline cache) so it can work without a connection; it does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

4. How we use information

• to provide, sync and back up your log;
• to keep the App secure, prevent abuse and fix problems;
• to contact you about your account or important changes, if needed;
• to comply with law.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

5. Who we share it with

Only service providers that run the App for us and are bound to protect it: Auth0/Okta (sign-in) and Cloudflare (hosting, database and network security). We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, sale or reorganization of our business.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account and cloud log while your account exists. Records you delete in the App are removed from sync; a small deletion marker is kept for up to about 90 days so the deletion reaches your other devices. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your cloud log and account record, except where we must keep information to comply with law.

7. Your choices and rights

• Use the App without signing in, so nothing is sent to us.
• Export your log at any time (Settings → Export backup).
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and cloud data by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable time, and within any period required by law.

Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights under privacy laws. You can exercise them using the email above, and we won't discriminate against you for doing so.

8. Security

Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to the sync service requires a signed-in token, and each person's records are kept separate. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The App is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Where data is processed

We are based in the United States. Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. The version and effective date above will change, and for significant changes the App may ask you to review it again.
